Money20/20 USA 2026: Why Nini Still Shows Up in Person
This fall, Nini went west: client meetings in Vancouver, then a packed few days at Money20/20 USA 2026 in Las Vegas. Here’s what we learned on the road.

Video calls are great for a lot of things. Reading a room isn’t one of them.
Nini was born in Toronto. The businesses we work with are spread across North America. So this fall, part of our team packed their luggage, double-checked for chargers, and headed west.
We made two stops. First, Vancouver, to sit down with our clients and hear where they want Nini to go next. Then Las Vegas, for Money20/20 USA, to connect with other fintech and payment companies.

Vancouver: Face to Face With Our West Coast Clients
In late September, part of our leadership team flew to Vancouver to meet clients and partners in person.
We asked what’s working, what’s getting in their way and what they want from Nini next year. Then we did the hard part: we listened.
Those talks shape what we build and what we fix. Nobody knows what a product needs better than the people using it.

We came home with a clearer picture of what our clients care about, and better ways to explain what Nini does.
We also came home with a soft spot for the West Coast. Some of our team are from out there, and the rest just love it. We’ll be keeping that quiet in Toronto.

Money20/20 USA 2026 in Las Vegas: A Packed Few DaysMoney20/20 is one of the biggest fintech and payments events in North America. Banks, payment companies, startups, regulators and investors come together in one place for a few days.
For a growing company like Nini, that’s a rare chance to meet the people shaping fintech, all in one room.
Prep started in Toronto, where our flyers were folded and vacuum-sealed for the flight. Startup life is half vision, half packing tape.
Then it was go time. We introduced Nini to businesses we’re excited to work with, and caught up with partners and familiar faces.
Every meeting, booth visit and hallway chat taught us something about where payments are heading. And we left more sure we’re building the right thing. In a city built on odds, we’ll take that bet.

Why a Fintech Startup Still Shows Up in Person
Trips take time away from the office. We don’t take that lightly. But they pay off every time. Meeting in person helps us:
- Understand our partners. The details that matter rarely come up on a call.
- Build trust. It grows faster once you’ve shared a table.
- Stay close to the industry. Events like Money20/20 keep us in touch with what’s changing in payments.
- Bring new ideas home. Along with a camera roll nobody asked to see.
Until Next Time
To every client and partner who made time for us this fall: thank you. We’ll see you again soon. Probably with more flyers. Vacuum-sealed, as is tradition.
